Renovate is a tool for automated dependency updates on software projects. It is executed regularly on the VSETH infrastructure and will automatically create Merge Requests with package updates on your Gitlab projects.

It is highly recommended to use Renovate on your Software Projects to improve security. In the future, the usage of Renovate may become compulsory on the VSETH IT.

Enable Renovate

You can either enable Renovate on the Gitlab group of your organization. In this case, it will run on all projects in the group or on a single project. It is recommended to enable Renovate on all projects in a group.
